Work with an Authorized, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant!
Verify that your immigration consultant is authorized—they are licensed and “active”—by using the public search register.

There were 11,733 Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) in good standing across Canada and 261 abroad during the past fiscal year.

RCICs are licensed professionals who meet educational, professional and ethical standards. They can:

• Explain immigration and citizenship options to clients.
• Recommend the best program for a client.
• Fill out and submit immigration or citizenship applications.
• Communicate with the Government of Canada on a client’s behalf.
• Represent clients in immigration and citizenship applications.
• RCICs with an RCIC-IRB class of licence can represent clients before the Immigration and Refugee board of Canada.

New Canada Super Visa Income Requirement Effective July 29,2025
🚨 2025 Update for Hosts 🚨

One of the most significant changes this year is the increase in the minimum gross income requirements for hosts sponsoring parents or grandparents to come to Canada.

NOTE: To represent or advise you, your RCIC or RISIA must be listed on our Public Register as ”Active.” Also, some RCICs are authorized to provide only certain services. Always check the Public Register to ensure your RCIC is authorized to perform the service you are asking them to.
