πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW 437 β€” FRENCH-LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY πŸ‡«πŸ‡·

IRCC has issued 5,000 ITAs β€” and the CRS cut-off has dropped to just 382! πŸ”₯

πŸ“… Draw date: August 19, 2026
🎯 Category: French-Language Proficiency
πŸ“© Invitations issued: 5,000
πŸ“Š CRS cut-off: 382
⏰ Tie-breaking rule: March 1, 2026 at 18:34:05 UTC

πŸ‡«πŸ‡· Why this draw is significant

The 382 CRS cut-off is a major development for French-speaking Express Entry candidates. It is the lowest French-language cut-off seen in the recent series of 2026 French draws.

And IRCC’s focus on French immigration is becoming increasingly clear.
πŸ‘‰ French-language ITAs in 2026 so far: 50,500
πŸ‘‰ Total Express Entry ITAs across all categories in 2026: 117,865

That means French-language draws have already accounted for a substantial share of Express Entry invitations issued this year.

πŸ“Œ Who can qualify for the French category?

To be eligible for a French-language proficiency category draw, candidates generally need:
πŸ‡«πŸ‡· NCLC 7 or higher in all 4 French language abilities
βœ… Be eligible under one of the Express Entry programs
πŸ“ Have valid French test results from an approved test such as TEF Canada or TCF Canada.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ What does this mean for future applicants?

If your CRS is currently below the range typically seen in general Express Entry draws, French could be a strategic pathway worth considering.

The message from the 2026 draws is becoming increasingly clear:

If French is a realistic option for you, don’t ignore it. πŸ‡«πŸ‡·πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

🚨 EXPRESS ENTRY UPDATE | French-Language Draw πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

IRCC has just conducted a new French-language category-based Express Entry draw!

πŸ“Œ Draw Highlights:
βœ… 5,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs)
βœ… CRS Cut-off: 420
βœ… Category: French-language Proficiency πŸ‡«πŸ‡·

This draw once again shows that French remains one of the strongest pathways to Canadian Permanent Residence, even for candidates with CRS scores that may not be competitive in general draws.

Are you learning French or planning to start? This could be your opportunity to significantly improve your chances of receiving an ITA.

πŸ’¬ Comment your current CRS score below, and I’ll let you know which immigration pathways may be available for you.

🚨 New OINP Employer Requirements Are Here!

Planning to apply for Ontario PR under the new Ontario Workforce Priority Stream?

Here’s something many applicants don’t realize:

πŸ‘‰ It’s no longer just about your eligibility. Your employer must qualify too.

Before submitting your application, make sure your employer meets key requirements such as:
βœ… Operating in Ontario for at least 3 years
βœ… Meeting the minimum revenue requirement
βœ… Having the required number of Canadian citizens or permanent residents as employees
βœ… Offering a genuine, full-time permanent position that meets wage requirements

If your employer doesn’t meet these conditions, your application may not move forwardβ€”even if you’re otherwise eligible.

Watch this reel to understand the basics, and stay tuned for more updates as Ontario prepares to reopen the Expression of Interest (EOI) system.

πŸ’¬ Have questions about your employer’s eligibility? Drop them in the comments or send me a DM.

πŸ“Œ Save this reel for future reference and share it with someone planning to apply for Ontario PR.

🚨 Working in Ontario? Before you apply under the new OINP Workforce Priority Stream, make sure your salary meets the required wage criteria.

Having a job offer from an Ontario employer does not automatically make you eligible. Your wage must meet the applicable Job Bank regional wage based on your occupation, work location, and pathway.

βœ”οΈ Understand the difference between Median Wage and Low Wage
βœ”οΈ Know who qualifies for the Recent Ontario Graduate exception
βœ”οΈ Learn how wages are assessed if you’re already working for your employer

A small difference in wages could affect your eligibility, so it’s important to check the requirements before submitting your application.

πŸ“© DM β€œOINP” and we’ll send you our FREE OINP Wage Rules Guide with a detailed chart explaining the wage requirements for each pathway.
