Big Express Entry changes are coming on November 3, 2026. 🇨🇦
IRCC is changing how Express Entry points are awarded and how job offers are assessed. Here's what you need to know:
✅ A new Labour Market Integration factor is worth up to 150 CRS points. You get points for either Canadian work experience or a qualifying job offer, whichever scores higher.
✅ Job offer points are back: 100, 70 or 50 points for offers in eligible high-wage occupations.
✅ No LMIA is needed for a job offer to count toward program eligibility or CRS points.
✅ Existing profiles will be recalculated automatically, which can take up to two weeks. Invitation rounds are paused during that time.
✅ If you have a job offer, update your profile before November 3.
