Three Provinces Select Candidates in Latest Provincial Immigration Results
This week, British Columbia, Quebec, and Manitoba have issued invitations to apply for their provincial immigration programs, highlighting the continued efforts to attract skilled immigrants.
British Columbia: On June 4, BC issued 68 invitations in four occupation-based draws targeting Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams. The largest number, 33 invitations, went to tech occupations, requiring the highest minimum score of 122. Other draws included healthcare, childcare, and construction occupations.
Quebec: On May 30, Quebec invited 1,441 candidates with a French proficiency level of 7 or higher and a score of 591 points or more. Valid job offers outside the Montreal metropolitan area were also considered.
Manitoba: On June 6, Manitoba issued 254 Letters of Advice in three categories: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas. Among them, 35 had valid Express Entry profiles.
These provincial nominations strengthen candidates' positions when applying for permanent residence through Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As immigration remains a shared responsibility, these programs ensure a tailored approach to meet provincial economic needs.
