Today started off busy, as usual. Between the kids, my family, my parents, my clients, business partners, friends, church, community organizations, and everything in between… it took me an hour to realize that today is Theva Law’s birthday.
We turned NINE today. 😮🎈
I can’t believe I forgot. No countdown, no big build-up or anything but here we are, and I’m going to speak from the heart.
I am so grateful. First and foremost, to God, for establishing this plan and carrying me through every season. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us to commit whatever we do to the Lord, and He will establish our plans.
To every client who has trusted us, every business partner who has referred someone, and every friend who has supported me, even by simply sharing a post on socials, Theva Law would not be where it is without you. Every employee and student that has contributed to the successful of this business, im@so grateful for you. I truly believe you are part of God’s work in my life. You have been a blessing to me, and I hope this office has been, and will continue to be, a blessing to you.
I started this office with barely any money. I was a newly called lawyer with a lot of ambition and a willingness to work hard. I didn’t have everything figured out, but I took that first step.
I will always share my humble beginnings because I hope they give someone standing where I once stood the courage to believe that they, too, can make it happen.
There is hope. You don’t need to start with much to build something meaningful. Start where you are, with what you have.
Nine years later, my heart is full. Thank you for being part of Theva Law’s story. Happy birthday to this little office that has grown to mean so much. 🤍
