Holidays are awesome. I look outside and wish I was somewhere warm!! March break is around the corner….

Empty homes make easy targets. Empty homes can have a problem (basement flooding, frozen pipes, etc.) that can go unnoticed for days or weeks, making a bad problem even worse.

Q: Who are you?
A: Michel Castillo.

Q: What do you do?
A: I am a lawyer, based out of London ON, but I assist clients from Windsor to Kingston and from Timmins to the Niagara Region.

Q: Are you really that handsome?!
A: Stop it with the flattery! That is the handy work of Paul Lambert - photographer ()

Q: What kind of law do you practice?
A: Civil and commercial litigation/dispute resolution. I help people and businesses, large and small, in resolving issues such as contract disputes, property disputes, employment (both employer and employee side), construction disputes, and debt collection among other things.

Q: There are a zillion lawyers in Ontario. What makes you so special?
A: Well, not a zillion, but about 57,000 lawyers and about 11,000 paralegals.

Q: OK - Mr Smarty Pants. But why pick you over another lawyer?
A: Hmmm many reasons but here are some good ones; (A) I have 27+ years of experience doing what I do. (B) I pride myself on having good and positive relationships with my clients. Many are return clients. (C) Many of my clients come to me as referrals from current and former clients as well as from lawyers and paralegals - that says something don’t you think? (D) I am an entrepreneur and business owner so I know and understand not only the theory of law but also how it impacts my clients and their decision making. (E) When you hire me you hire - ME! No layers of staff and no handing the client off to a junior.
