Exciting events happening on Dundas Place this weekend.

Summer Festivals’ Block Party featuring Cuba’s Cimafunk and more - led by TD Sunfest and Home County Music and Art Festival will be on Dundas from Talbot to Richmond from 4pm to 11pm on Friday May 20 and Saturday May 21. March 22, 2022: Hassan Law Community Gallery The Chisholm Building 142 Dundas Sreet London Ontario is searching for Palestinian art and artists interested in Exhibiting at a show and sale (no commisisons payable to the gallery and funding is available if you apply by Friday April 8, 2022 with photos of proposed work, biography, artist representation if any). Exhibit will begin Friday April 22, 2022 and run until Sunday May 29, 2022 with art to be picked up or sent to purchasers by artists on Monday 30:Opening is Saturday April 23, 2022 from 10 a.m until 10 p.m.

Host pop up events, weddings, parties, displays or retail in the award winning re-purposed HLCG flex space Soon see exhibits of some of the finest Indigenous art work al;ong with environmental art. Dates are being planned. We have a unique collection of local and Indigenous art from in and around London, Ontario and Canada. The first day of Ramadan 2021 starts this evening, Monday, April 12th & lasts 30 days, ending at sundown on Tuesday, May 11. We say "Ramadan Mubarak" or "Ramadan Kareem & later "Eid Mubarak! Not only do Muslims who are able, fast from sunrise to sunset wherever they live, they also calculate their obligations to the Muslim community or Mosque, engage in good works, refrain from intemperate actions, words, and thinking, focus on our families, especially our elders, children and the less fortunate in our midsts regardless of their faith. We usually focus on service to the community each according to their ability, means and good intentions. It is a joyous time but in the time of Covid we cannot gather as usual nightly to break our daily fasts. We must adhere to our community values and public safety is a must. I suggest find a group or person in need and help them at a distance. The food banks are popular. My choices are the fundraising to rebuild Lebanon, the Muslim Resource Cente & the Unity Project of London. They tirelessly help people in considerable need in various respects, perhaps due to mental illness, historic abuse, poor physical health, a disability, a lack of housing, job loss and low or no income! Pressure governments and awaken the citizens of Canada, the USA & the European Union & Great Britain to support BDS. Denounce Israeli lobbyists. Many voices for peace support BDS movement.
