This holiday season, our firm is proud to give back to the Windsor-Essex community by supporting two important local organizations: Hiatus House and the Windsor Basketeers. These organizations are part of a national volunteer network that provides women in shelters with baskets filled with personal and household items to help them start fresh as they transition into new homes.

We are grateful to our dedicated staff as well as our friends at Canadian Tire for their generous contributions to these baskets. Together, we hope to bring a little joy and support to those in need this holiday season.

We wish to advise everyone that despite the current pandemic and state of emergency, we remain available to meet your legal needs and deliver legal services to our clients and the larger community, albeit, having adjusted and implemented measures to protect our clients, our staff and the public.

Both our Leamington and Kingsville offices have continued to work remotely to ensure as little disruption as possible and provide our clients and yours with legal services. We have adjusted to telephone and video conference meetings with clients, in accordance with the policies and recommendations of the Law Society of Ontario.

We are receiving an especially increased number of inquiries from concerned clients regarding our scheduled real estate transactions and other scheduled closings. We note that we have also shifted operations to ensure we can deliver closing funds remotely.

We continue work diligently to adapt to the daily changes of the policies and practices of various third parties (realtors, banks, the land registry office and more), with whom we continue to work with closely to ensure your scheduled transaction closes as planned, with as little disruption as possible.

Understandably, this is a difficult time for everyone - rest assured our staff is working hard to ease any undue stress for both our clients and yours.
