In December 2023, the Fraser Valley experienced a 6% drop in sales from November, but an impressive 17% increase compared to December 2022. The market's momentum stalled temporarily due to back-to-back mid-year interest rate hikes, resulting in an overall equilibrium during the latter half of the year. Concluding the year, the region recorded 14,713 sales on its Multiple Listing Serviceยฎ (MLSยฎ), which stood 23% below the 10-year average.
