I booked a site this week at the national park Kejimkujik for our annual camping trip with friends.

It does help with some of the winter blues to think ahead to summer days of canoeing, swimming, and singing songs around the campfire. 🏕️

We are under 1 month away from another International Womens’ Day (March 8th).

My radical thought for today is - “My business is not feminist enough”.

If I truly want to remove barriers for Canadian women and non-binary folks who are starting and growing businesses, I think that I personally need to do more and challenge more.

Many of the systemic structures that support the entrepreneurial ecosystem are based on patriarchal values. Laws and policies are certainly a part of this.

Thanks to for reminding me of this in our recent discussions about how to make by-laws more feminist.
