One of the things I love about real estate is where it takes me. 🚗🏡

I spend a lot of time driving around this province, and I never get tired of seeing just how beautiful Nova Scotia is. From winding country roads and small communities to ocean views, farmland and those places that make you want to pull over just to take it all in.

Some days the drive between appointments is almost as good as the destination.

There’s always another road to explore and another beautiful corner of Nova Scotia to discover. ❤️

A pretty great way to start the day! 🌊☀️

In Digby this morning for a couple of new listings, and with views like this, I had to take a minute to enjoy it.

Beautiful sunshine, calm water, and that classic Nova Scotia coastal view. Some workdays definitely come with better scenery than others!

Closing baskets aren’t just for the grown-ups! 🏡🔑🧸

When I put together a closing basket, I try to add a few locally made goodies whenever I can. And when there are kids involved in the move, well… you can’t forget the kids!

These three little guys made their way into a recent closing basket—one for each of the children. I’m not sure who was more excited about them, the kids or me picking them out. 😂

They’re locally handmade and I found them at Spurr Brothers Farms Market. They have all kinds of different animals, sizes and styles, so if you need a cute little gift—or just see one you can’t leave behind—go have a look!

Buying a home is a pretty big adventure for the whole family, so I think everyone deserves a little something on closing day. ❤️

TWO CHAPTERS. ONE CLOSING DAY. 🏡🏡

Chapter 01 brought things full circle at 1215 Mayhew in Kingston.

I originally helped these clients purchase this home, and I’m incredibly grateful that they trusted me again when it was time to sell. Bought with me. Sold with me. Now, on to their next chapter.

Chapter 02 marks a different kind of milestone at 221 Main Street in Middleton.

My clients have officially sold their first home as they make room for something bigger. Saying goodbye to a first home is always bittersweet—but there is so much excitement in what comes next.

Two homes. Two stories. Two successful closings on the very same day.

Congratulations to both of my seller families, and thank you for allowing me to be part of these important moments. ❤️

🏡 CLOSED — AND THIS ONE HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING! 🔑❤️

Some buyers sail through the home-buying process relatively quickly. Others have to jump hurdle after hurdle before they finally get the keys.

For well over a year, this family has faced challenge after challenge on their journey to a new home in Nova Scotia. There have been setbacks, unexpected obstacles and more than one sale that fell apart along the way.

But they kept going.

And today, they finally made it back to Canada and into their new dream home. 🇨🇦🏡

And what a home it is!

This grand old lady is the Morse-Magwood House in Bridgetown, and today she officially has new owners. I'm incredibly happy to have been able to help this family finally reach closing day, and I can't wait to see them bring this beautiful historic home back to life.

Congratulations and welcome home! After everything it took to get here, I hope turning that key today felt especially good. ❤️

🎡☀️ DAY 6 — FINAL DAY AT THE ANNAPOLIS VALLEY EXHIBITION! ☀️🎡

It’s Saturday, the sun is shining, and we’ve got a full day of events ahead as we wrap up another great Exhibition week!

There’s still plenty of time to take in the shows, visit the animals, hit the midway, grab one more favourite Exhibition treat, and enjoy everything the Ex has to offer.

🎶 And tonight, Cory Marks hits the Main Stage at 8:30 PM! A great way to finish off the week!

It’s a beautiful, sunny Friday and there’s lots happening at the Ex today!

🎠 The rides get going this afternoon, so it’s a perfect day to hit the midway. Whether you’re still the first one in line for the fastest, highest ride or your ride days are behind you, everyone seems to have that one favourite.

Lots going on at the Ex today! The Baby Show, Barrel Racing, and tonight, everyone’s favourite — the Fireman Bucket Brigade Challenge! 🚒💦

Of course, one of my favourite parts of Exhibition week is all the great food. 😋 There are definitely a few things I look forward to every year!
