We have FLOORS!! 😍🙌 And I genuinely can’t get over how different this house feels already.

One thing we didn’t talk about in the reel was why we chose this flooring. With Larissa Herbert’s help at House of Broadloom Ltd we landed on a high-end laminate that made so much sense for our family. We wanted the look and warmth of hardwood, but we also needed something that could actually handle the way we live. 😂

It’s durable enough for commercial use, water resistant, and has such a realistic wood look that we’re getting everything we wanted without having to worry quite so much about everyday life happening on it. Kids, shoes, spills… bring it on! 🙌

And the best part? Sitting in our living room and seeing the same flooring flow right into the kitchen makes the whole space feel completely different. It honestly feels a little bit like a dream every time we sit down. 🥹🏡

Still lots to come, but THIS was a good week. ❤️

Well THIS feels like a milestone! 🙌🌸

For weeks, every bit of progress seemed to make our house look a little less like a home. Now we’ve officially crossed over to the part where each new step makes it look better… and I am HERE for it. 😍

Seeing the choices we made months ago finally come together in our own space is such a good feeling. There’s still lots to do, but for the first time, we can really see where this is headed. 🏡✨

And apparently one very persistent piece of pink wasn’t quite finished with us yet… 😂🌸

I swear I’ve been training my whole life for this. 😂🏡

Give me a problem and my brain immediately starts working on how we’re going to solve it.

When something unexpected comes up in a real estate transaction, I’m on it. I’m making the calls, looking at the options, talking it through and, when necessary, getting a little creative to find a solution that works for everyone involved. 🧩✨

Not every transaction follows the perfect little path we pictured at the beginning and that’s okay. Sometimes getting from A to B just requires a different route. 💙

It feels like we’ve spent weeks watching our house become less finished every single day, but we’ve officially reached the turning point. From here on out, things actually start going BACK into the house—and we are very ready for that part. 🙌

There’s definitely been some chaos along the way, but seeing this space slowly become what we imagined over all those years is making it pretty easy to trust the process. ❤️
