I'm very disappointed by the Ontario Court of Appeal Pat King decision. The irony should not be lost that all this happened in the context of a campaign of intimidation by the government to compel Canadians to be vaccinated against their will. We have come a long way from the tradition of the courts to hold the executive government in check against abuses of power. The Ontario Court of Appeal today has instead demonstrated that it is willing to invent new crimes of intimidation of the government through protest and blocking highways, while turning a blind eye to the government intimidation that created the situation in the first place.
