Rockies Law Corporation was established in 2004 and acquired the assets of Sliva & Summers, a law practice which was then the latest successor to a law firm continuously serving the Elk Valley since 1897. In 2007, Rockies Law established an office in Kimberley, allowing us to serve a broader range of clients in the East Kootenays. In 2009, Rockies Law merged with Steidl Kambeitz Law Corporation to become Southeast BC’s largest full service law firm. In March 2014, Rockies Law continued to grow when it acquired the practice of Kluge & Boyd in Invermere. Most recently, in March 2017, Rockies Law Corporation partnered with Marian Gravelle, Notary Public in Sparwood under the new name, Rockies Notary & Legal. Now, more than ever, Rockies Law is ideally positioned to meet all the legal service needs of our clients throughout the entire East Kootenay region.
