CIP Spotlight: Investing in Downtown Fergus!

Have you checked out the new mural and signage on the Russell Building in Downtown Fergus? This exciting project is a great example of how the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) can help support investment, beautification and revitalization in our downtown.

A big thank you to the Wellington County Historical Society for spearheading this project and helping bring new life and character to the downtown. We'd also like to recognize the building owners, represented by Property Manager Matthew Bennett-Monty, for working with the Historical Society and helping bring this project to life.

The CIP program is designed to encourage property improvements and support projects that contribute to the revitalization of our community's commercial areas. Projects like this mural and new signage demonstrate how partnerships and CIP support can make a difference.
