Today is "Giving Tuesday." In that spirit, Burnside Law Group has donated to the following non-profit entities: Mazon Canada, the IWK Foundation, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, and Shelter Box Canada. Understand, our responsibility -- as a community -- to provide for those with needs does not rise and fall on a single day in any given year. In the absence of the equitable society providing for the needs of all citizens, there is a public ethic to assist those with such needs. The only adage that giving is better than receiving is certainly the operative principle guiding us in our daily lives.
