This weekend, Allie & Bougie earned a 2nd place finish in ranch classes. While the ribbon is exciting, what most people don’t see are the hours of training, patience, consistency, and hard work that led to that moment.

It reminded me of a principle that applies not only to horses, but also to life and real estate.

Our job is to be faithful in the preparation. God’s job is the outcome.

Allie and Riskey had some great runs Friday night and a few that left us wanting more. That’s part of the journey.

We can prepare, practice, and give our best effort, but the outcome is ultimately in God’s hands. The lesson isn’t always found in the win—sometimes it’s found in learning to trust Him regardless of the result.

Friday night with Allie & Riskey was a great reminder that our job is to be faithful with what God has given us and leave the results in His hands.

Allie and Riskey focused on doing their best, working together, and executing the pattern. Just like in life, when we focus on being faithful in the effort, the outcome will take care of itself.
