Please meet Paul D. Watson's Wills, Estates and Business Law Clerk:

Krystal, a lifelong resident of Chatham-Kent, graduated the Law Clerk program in 2012 from Fanshawe College.

She has been employed with Paul D. Watson since 2019.

When Krystal isn’t working, you can find her moonlighting as a Canskate coach and a Director at the Chatham Skating Club. Krystal enjoys watching her kids’ extracurricular activities, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Mary has been employed with Paul D. Watson since January 2024. Mary previously worked for Mark Michael Mackew for 15 years, until he retired in September 2023. Mary brings with her over 20 years of experience and is a graduate of Fanshawe College Law Clerk Program and UCC “The Pines”.

Mary is a lifelong resident of Chatham-Kent where she has raised her two daughters who are now in post-secondary. When she is not working, she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Mary is the primary contact for everything real estate!

Please meet Paul D. Watson’s Articling Student:

Rebecca Colpitts has been employed with our firm since June of 2018. Initially a Licensed Paralegal, and Law Clerk, with 19 years experience, Rebecca started her law school journey at the University of Windsor in September of 2022. Rebecca graduated June 6, 2025, and is now completing her Articles with our firm.

Rebecca has an Office Administration Diploma from Lambton College, a B.A. in Political Science/Pre-Law Major from Lakehead University, a Certificate in Civil Litigation from the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, a Paralegal Diploma from TriOS College and a Juris Doctor with a Minor in Indigenous Studies from the University of Windsor and is currently taking a Master of Law and Graduate Diploma in University Teaching Program (2027).

Rebecca will be a general practitioner and is currently the primary contact for family law matters and legal aid Child Youth and Family Services Act (Linck/Society) matters.

Paul Watson is a graduate of Western Law School and has been providing legal services to the community for over 40 years!

During that time Paul has also served as Alderman and Municipal Councillor (15 years), as President of the Rotary Club of Chatham (2019-2020), President of the Kent Law Association (2018-2019) and many other community endeavours.

Paul is married to Colleen, has 2 children, 2 step-children and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time Paul enjoys travel, boating, biking and fishing.
