I actually capped a little while ago. Debated posting this as I'm not one to brag about all my highlights. I'm more concerned with putting in the work and letting the results speak.

I want to thank my clients most of all. Without you, there is no business. My favorite part of what I do is helping people get where they want to go. I love being part of your journey. Always will. 🙏🏼❤️

I'm also grateful for working with REAL Broker. It still feels like 'home.' And grateful for my team at the McCallum Group as well 🔥

CALGARY: Spring is (finally) here 🌸 And coffee shop patios are now a lot more enjoyable!

I rounded up some of the best spots in Calgary (and surrounding area) for exceptionally good coffee...everything from casual family-friendly spots to places you can meet clients, friends, and network... these places deliver every time.👊🏼

* Save this post to lock in your top shops for a great coffee (or so you know exactly where to go the next time you get a craving) 😎☕️

If you know someone who's lost a parent they were close with, be patient. Be kind. ☺️ The grief (even years later) can be tremendous. It comes in waves. It can be overwhelming for a moment. 🥲

And if you still have your mom and/or dad with you; remember to try and be present, give them a huge hug, and cherish your time with them.

Not until they're gone, will you truly understand how important those things are to you and how much they really DID love you 🙏🏼🥹

I will ALWAYS have a place in my heart for Re/Max ❤️

When I started my real estate career, nearly 16 years ago, I actually first began with Remax.😎

I mentored under a very successful agent in Calgary, who is still exceptional to this day. I learned a lot from him and also cut my teeth learning more about what I loved and didn't love about Remax fairly early on.

⏭️ Fast forward to 2021, and Real brokerage entered the Canadian market, starting here first in Alberta. For whatever reason, even at that time when things were so unsure, it seemed like the right fit for me - finally! So I jumped in with both feet, alongside Brad and The McCallum Group, and it has been my real estate 'home' ever since.

I'll admit I don't know a ton about mergers and acquisitions. But what I DO know is, I'm excited about this next chapter. It's got me thinking about how other tech and brands have acquired, collaborated with and grown with other major brands - while each still carried on doing their own great things.

And what does this mean for our Calgary and surrounding area clients? Nothing but opportunity. Same awesome team, same great service, and same core values moving forward. 👊🏼

🤷🏻‍♂️ What this acquisition ultimately means: better tools for agents and the consumer , bigger network and collaboration, more leverage and more reach across the world.

Questions? If so, my DMs are always open. 📲

Steady as she goes! The Bank of Canada has held the prime rate at 2.25% again as of today.

Does this mean all real estate interest rates won't or don't change? Not exactly. Things like bond yields, economic factors specific to Canada, and inflation rate (current and expected) also factor in.

But for many of those who keep insisting they'll go UP, and wait as a result, it usually ends up being much ado about nothing.

Here in Calgary it means that prices will likely hold if you're buying, and you can expect that, depending on community and style of home, certain pockets will be more expensive than others. But it also means that for the spring market staying on the fence and hoping interest rates will go down - likely isn't your best option.

Your best bet is to seek the advice of a strong & trusted mortgage broker to see which rate and product will be best for you and your budget 👍🏼

You'll never hear me tell you to push way beyond your comfortable budget. True story.

Okay, Calgary… can we be honest for a second? Because a lot of people in this city are hurting right now when it comes to housing. I hear it every day. Renters stressed about their next renewal. Young families wondering if they’ll ever be able to buy. Students stacked in apartments trying to make it work. People who’ve lived here their whole lives suddenly feeling unsure if they can stay.

And the hardest part? It feels like nobody has a clear answer. We see new buildings going up, but we’re still short on homes real people can actually afford. Zoning debates, council fights, federal funding delays — it’s exhausting watching the politics overshadow the people.

But here’s the thing I keep reminding people: Calgary has always faced its toughest moments by leaning INTO community, not away from it. Every time this city’s been challenged — floods, downturns, rebuilds — we showed up for each other.

This housing moment is no different. We’re not powerless. We can push for smarter policy, support local solutions, share good information, and help each other navigate the chaos instead of giving into fear.

So if you’re stressed, overwhelmed, or feeling discouraged — you’re not alone. So many Calgarians are in the same boat. And we’ll get through this the same way we always do: together, with compassion, clarity, and community.

Let’s focus on real people, real stories, and real solutions — not just scary headlines.

📲 Here to help you where I can 👊🏼

😱 Every week there’s a new headline screaming “Market Crash,” “Rates Skyrocketing,” or “Housing Becoming Impossible”… and I get it—those headlines are designed to grab attention and trigger fear. But here’s the truth: the biggest fears buyers and sellers have—like losing money, buying at the wrong time, or watching their home value drop, are often magnified by the media.

Headlines don’t reflect what’s actually happening on your street, in your city, or in your personal financial situation. They paint Canada with one big brush, when in reality, every market is local and every move in real estate should be based on data, logic, and personal goals—not panic.

The media profits from clicks and emotions, not from helping you make smart decisions. That’s why you’ll rarely see a headline that says “Homes Quietly Appreciating,” “Multiple Offers Still Happening,” or “Buyers Successfully Negotiating Deals.”

But that’s the reality I see every day. While people are frozen in fear waiting for the next headline to tell them what to do, others are building equity, securing great deals, and creating generational wealth. So don’t let fear sell you on inaction. Look past the noise, talk to trusted professionals, and remember—the best real estate decisions are made with facts, not fear.

📲 I'm always here to help if you have questions 👊🏼

Interest rates are down a quarter point again, Yay! But hold on, what does that mean for the months to come?

Waiting to buy MIGHT nit make much sense. In fact? your borrowing power in 2026 might actually decrease 🧐.

Then again, with the rising cost of everything lately - seems many people are prepared to wait or afraid to do something else.

It's important to listen to more than just the mainstream media on this; and get the facts, figures and information from people you trust 😎.
