Have you ever received a "Patience Letter" from IRCC? Yes... that's actually what it's called. 😊

One of my clients recently received a letter literally titled "Patience Letter." Confusing right? But in reality, it's IRCC's way of saying:
"Your application is still being processed. We haven't forgotten about you, but we need more time."

If you receive a Patience Letter, it doesn't automatically mean there's a problem with your application. It simply means IRCC is still working on it.

Remember, each case is different. And sometimes, patience really is part of the immigration journey.

Myth vs. Fact

❌ Myth: “My friend got approved, so I will too.”

✅ Fact: Every immigration application is assessed on its own merits.

Even if you and your friend applied under the same program, differences in your documents, work history, finances, family situation, or other factors can lead to a different outcome.

Avoid comparing your case to someone else’s. Instead, make sure your application is complete, accurate, and supported by the required documents.

Every immigration journey is unique.

Let's talk about processing times.

Many applicants become worried when their application takes longer than the processing time shown on the IRCC website. Remember, those processing times are estimates based on previous applications—not a guarantee for your case.

Every application is different, and factors such as application volume, background checks, or requests for additional documents can affect how long processing takes.

✔️ Stay patient.
✔️ Check your IRCC account regularly.
✔️ Respond promptly if IRCC requests more information.

A longer wait doesn't always mean there's a problem.

Многие начинают переживать, если их заявление рассматривается дольше, чем указано на сайте IRCC. Важно помнить, что сроки обработки — это примерное время, основанное на ранее рассмотренных заявлениях. Это не гарантия, что именно ваше заявление будет рассмотрено за такой же срок.

One of the most common mistakes I see is when people upload the documents requested by IRCC but forget to click "Submit."

Uploading your documents does not automatically send them to IRCC. Until you click Submit, IRCC may not receive them.

Unfortunately, I've seen applications refused simply because applicants thought uploading was the final step.

✅ Before closing your IRCC account, always make sure you've:
• Uploaded all requested documents.
• Clicked Submit.
• Received confirmation that your documents were successfully submitted.

That one extra click could make all the difference.
