I'm beyond thrilled to welcome Jolene Otieno to the Caron & Partners LLP immigration team!
Jolene brings nearly two decades of Canadian immigration experience, including extensive leadership in corporate immigration and global mobility strategy. She has advised organizations and employers of all sizes, from SMBs to large multinationals on complex immigration, mobility, and workforce compliance matters around the world.
With Jolene joining Bjorna and me, our immigration group now offers something truly special. Together, we are now able to support clients across the entire spectrum of Canadian immigration law — from refugee protection, humanitarian cases and complex litigation before tribunals and the Federal Court, to corporate immigration strategy and global mobility programs for employers. Just as importantly, our combined experience allows us to navigate and resolve the complex issues that often arise within immigration applications themselves.
Our immigration clients also benefit from the strength of the broader Caron & Partners team, which offers complementary expertise in litigation, real estate, estates and wealth planning, municipal law, family law, agricultural law, and insolvency.
I'm so excited about how wonderful 2026 has been so far and how much promise it holds! I'm truly blessed to work alongside colleagues who are leaders in their field. I'm especially lucky to work alongside two incredible women, Bjorna Shkurti and now Jolene Otieno, who I have the privilege of calling my friends :)
