This little condo is my secret weapon for building long-term wealth. And with it, I can make sure I don’t outlive my money.

By investing in real estate, I’ve created a backup plan for retirement to give me peace of mind. If I ever live longer than the savings I’ve set aside, I can sell this investment property. That’ll give me a solid chunk of equity to live on (and lots of Bingo money 💰).

In the meantime, the tenant’s rent is paying down the mortgage. And I’m building financial security for later.

The goal is simple: when it’s time to retire, the rental income can help support my lifestyle. And if that’s not enough, selling the property gives me a safety net that savings alone can’t match.

A Vision is way bigger than a Goal.

Achieving a bunch of smaller goals that you know will lead you to your Vision is the trick.

That’s my trick to moving forward. I commit to the top but only focus on taking one small step at a time.

You can’t get to the top of the hill without first hitting the bottom half or the middle or one step above the middle.

So figure out the top and start at the bottom - the rest will come.

Your reason for not buying should only be linked to a solid data point like:

✅ You're actively working on your credit score to get qualified
✅ You're saving the down payment your broker has said you need
✅ You’re waiting to get a job letter
✅ You’re waiting out the 90 days for deposit history

The Math assumes the following:

▶️$6820.81 monthly net
▶️$3,100 monthly housing cost:
⭕ $2435 monthly mortgage
⭕$200 property tax
⭕$400 strata fees
⭕$65 Utilities

Which leaves $3720.81 for everything else.
