One Burlington neighbourhood feature I think people underestimate?
Being able to actually walk somewhere.

Not just “there’s a sidewalk.”

I mean being able to walk the kids to a park, grab a coffee, reach a trail, get to school or run a quick errand without automatically getting in the car.

When you’re comparing two homes, don’t just compare the houses.
Compare what a normal Tuesday looks like in each neighbourhood.
That can matter a lot more than people expect.

Before falling in love at an open house, look beyond the finishes.

Check the age of the roof, windows and mechanicals. Look for signs of moisture. Ask what has been updated and compare the home with recent nearby sales.

A good showing is equal parts excitement and investigation.
