As someone who's helped buyers, sellers, and investors navigate Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and the surrounding areas for over 21 years, I know firsthand how much these shifts can influence your decisions. Even if rate relief is on the horizon, its real impact depends on inflation, the broader economy, and whatever path the Bank of Canada chooses next. That means many buyers are proceeding with caution, and higher financing costs are shaping not just what folks can afford, but also when (or if) they choose to refinance or jump into the market.
