Important rental rule updates are coming into effect September 21, 2026. Whether you’re a landlord or tenant, staying informed can help you better understand the changes.

📌 Key Updates:
🔹 Missed Rent: N4 deadline changes from 14 days to 7 days
🔹 Repeated Late Rent: New provisions for repeated late payments
🔹 Important: An LTB hearing and order are still required — there is no automatic eviction
