Express Entry: CRS score falls to 481 as Canada invites another 7,000 candidates
IRCC has just held an all-program Express Entry draw for the third week in a row.

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued a total of 7,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score was 481. IRCC considered candidates from all programs.

Today’s draw had the lowest CRS score requirement for an all-program draw since the December 23, 2020 Express Entry draw (back then, the score was 468). In order for the CRS to fall to 481 today, IRCC has invited a total of 21,000 candidates over the past two weeks.

NEW LEGISLATION has passed today in Parliament that any body caught using a “mobile phone” whilst driving or whilst the engine is running will lose their Driver’s Licenses on the spot for 3 months. No excuse will be tolerated or accepted by a Police Officer. As soon as you get into your vehicle turn on the Bluetooth of the car or phone. If you don’t have Bluetooth technology you have to safely pull over switch off your car engine then you may answer your mobile phone. Keep in mind that even though you have pulled over & your engine is running you will still cop the full wrath of by the law. So turn off your car engine if you don’t have Bluetooth, prior to answering your mobile phone.

New rules that will mean automatic driver's licence suspension for convicted distracted drivers will soon take effect after receiving Royal Assent.
