Written by Eastside teacher David Reed.

Finding Joy uses the music of the Ba*****ed Ladies to tell the story of 5 very different sisters coming together to help clean out their father's home. It is a story of love, grief and family...❤️
Mr. Reed reached out to the Ba*****ed Ladies for permission to use their music and received enthusiastic approval!

The Eastside musical theatre students under Mr Reed and Mr West, have been working tirelessly on this production and we are sure it's gonna be amazing!

And we would remiss if we didn't shout out our own beautiful Astrid- who plays one of the sisters and gets to show off her guitar, vocal and dance skills. We are pretty proud of her. (her talent is genetic)

We love that this is a very local 📍story, written by a local musician 🎸and using Canadian music legends to tell the story.🇨🇦
