After an esteemed 46-year career, Brian Creighton is retiring from his role of managing partner at Creighton Shatford. Called to the Nova Scotia bar on December 19, 1978, Brian's long and distinguished career has been marked by a steadfast commitment to exceptional client service.

For over three decades, Brian has been a trusted advisor, guiding multiple generations within the same families and supporting numerous businesses through development and transition. His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in navigating complex legal landscapes.

Throughout his career, Brian has made significant contributions to municipal law, representing the Town of Amherst and other forums, including the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board and the Nova Scotia Police Review Board.

In the energy sector, Brian has provided invaluable counsel to entrepreneurs and businesses exploring non-utility electrical generation options in Nova Scotia, and served as local counsel for international wind energy producers.

As Brian steps into retirement, he looks forward to focusing on his family, enjoying golf, and savoring well-earned rest and relaxation. His legacy of exceptional client service and his contributions to the legal community will be remembered with great respect and appreciation.
