Please join us in welcoming Katlo to Collins Chilisa Consultants as our new Associate. 👏⚖️

Katlo has litigated both commercial and civil matters, building strong courtroom experience and practical legal skills. Her areas of interest include Employment and Labour Relations Law, Corporate Governance, Trade Law, and Technology Law, particularly Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence.

She holds an LLB from the University of Botswana and is an admitted Attorney of the High Court and other courts of Botswana. She has also completed the Spring School on International Law at the International Institute for Strategic Research.

We look forward to the value and insight she will bring to our clients and team.

In recent years, rare minerals and critical minerals have been discovered in Botswana. For instance, platinum deposits have been spotted in the Gantsi and Chobe areas while manganese has been confirmed to occur in a vast deposit in the Kanye area. Per its Critical Minerals Strategy, Botswana remains committed to tapping into Minerals essential for the global energy transition.
