We provide Roadside Assistance at no additional cost to our clients as follows.

Emergency Help Line

Emergency Assist 991 will offer a 24hr dedicated helpline for members to access our roadside assistance services. The helpline is operated by professionally trained Call Centre Agents who are capable of managing such emergency calls throughout the region.

Mechanical Breakdown Assistance

On arrival at the breakdown, the patrol unit will assess the problem and carry out minor repairs that will enable the client to drive to a place of safety. If the vehicle cannot be repaired it will be towed to the nearest place of safety or repair.

Towing Services

If the road patrol unit cannot assist on the spot and the vehicle needs to be towed, an Emergency Assist 991 assistance vehicle or an Emergency Assist 991 appointed tow-in contractor will be arranged to tow the vehicle to the nearest repair centre.

Vehicle Locksmith

If the keys are locked in the vehicle, a road patrol unit will be dispatched to assist. Where the road patrol unit is unable to open the vehicle, we will arrange for the services of a locksmith. We will not cover the costs of replacement parts.

Flat Tyre Assistance

In case of a flat tyre we will change the tyre for free. We do not provide spare tyres nor do we cover the costs of replacement of a new tyre.

Flat Battery Assistance

We provide free jumpstart services in case of flat batteries. We also provide a battery replacement service, however, the client is directly charged for the battery cost.

Out – of – Fuel Assistance

We provide fuel up to a maximum of 10 litres to enable the client to reach the nearest filling station. The cost of the fuel is directly charged to the client.
