BOARD APPOINTMENT – LECHA ADMINISTRATION (PTY) LTD AND NMG ADMINISTRATORS BOTSWANA (PTY) LTD

We are delighted to announce that as a show of confidence in our firm, the expertise and leadership qualities of our Managing Partner, Mr Otlametse T. Rakwadi was recently appointed a director of two (2) private companies which are at the centre of transformation of the pension fund administration sector in Botswana.
Firstly, Mr Rakwadi was appointed a director of Lecha Administration (Pty) Ltd. The company is wholly owned by Botswana Public Officers Pension Fund (BPOPF) and was established in response to the legislative requirement for local pension funds to separate their management and administration functions. Lecha in turn formed a joint venture, NMG Administrators Botswana (Pty) Ltd with a third party technical partner, to carry out the fund administration function autonomously from the BPOPF. Mr. Rakwadi is therefore a director of both companies.
The appointment is a culmination of an open, transparent and merit based recruitment process which started as far back as December 2019, and was led by BPOPF with the support of HRMC.
