Ceremony at the Legislative Assembly for the awarding by ABFIP of the decorations and medal presentations.

The "TIRADENTES" Medal - Patron of the Police Decree Law No. 9,208 of April 29, 1946, instituted by ABFIP resolution No. 001/15, is intended to reward and pay homage to the worship of the noble attributes of those who, in their history, have practiced meritorious and exalting actions of the values of Brazilian society.

The "LAW AND ORDER" Police Merit Medal, instituted by resolution No. 01/2020 of the Brazilian Association of International Peace Forces - ABFIP, aims to mark the 30 years of the first act of the United Nations Police Unit (UNPOL) in a multidisciplinary peace operation within the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC).

The "FIFTY THREE" | "FIFTY THREE" Medal, instituted by resolution No. 001/05, is an honor awarded in memory of Brazil's first participation in a UN Peace mission, in Suez. The medal is intended to recognize services provided to ABFIP/UN and pay homage to those who have undertaken actions that exalt the national historical memory, the spirit of civic duty, and the image of the Brazilian homeland.
