Temos orgulho em parabenizar nossas estagiárias Amanda Arantes, Helena Rocha e Isabella Suzigan Kadomoto, e toda a equipe da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, pela excepcional participação no Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot!
Amanda e Helena atuaram como oradoras e, junto a equipe, conquistaram um feito inédito: alcançaram pela primeira vez o “Round of 64 e Round of 32”, posicionando-se entre as 32 de 384 melhores universidades ao redor do mundo — um feito notável em uma das competições mais prestigiadas da área de arbitragem comercial internacional.
Além desse excelente resultado, a equipe também conquistou duas menções honrosas:
Honorable Mention for Best Memorandum for Claimant, reconhecendo a qualidade técnica e argumentativa do trabalho escrito;
Honorable Mention for Best Oralist, destacando a atuação individual da nossa brilhante Helena Rocha, pela excelência na fase oral da competição.
O Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, conhecido como Vis Moot, é uma das competições mais renomadas do mundo na área de arbitragem comercial internacional. Realizada anualmente em Viena, na Áustria, ela reúne faculdades de Direito de todos os continentes com o objetivo de promover o estudo do direito comercial internacional e da arbitragem como forma de resolução de conflitos.

We are proud to congratulate our interns Amanda Arantes, Helena Rocha and Isabella Kadomoto, as well as the entire PUC-Campinas team, for their exceptional participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot!
Amanda and Helena acted as speakers and, together with the team, achieved an unprecedented feat: they reached the “Round of 64 and Round of 32” for the first time, placing among the top 32 of 384 universities around the world - a remarkable achievement in one of the most prestigious competitions in the field of international commercial arbitration.
In addition to this excellent result, the team also won two honorable mentions:
Honorable Mention for Best Memorandum for Claimant, recognizing the technical and argumentative quality of the written work;
Honorable Mention for Best Oralist, highlighting the individual performance of our brilliant Helena Rocha, for her excellence in the oral phase of the competition.
The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, known as the Vis Moot, is one of the world's most renowned international commercial arbitration competitions. Held annually in Vienna, Austria, it brings together law faculties from all continents with the aim of promoting the study of international commercial law and arbitration as a means of resolving disputes.
