The Human Rights Clinic at UFMG expresses its deep gratitude to DKA Austria for the partnership built over the past years, grounded in our shared commitment to promoting children’s rights, social justice, and sustainability.
The collaboration between DKA and the Human Rights Clinic at UFMG — especially through the Socio-Environmental Justice, Human Rights, and Business Axis — has enabled the development of solid initiatives showcased during the Side Event, as well as our participation in the negotiations of the UN Binding Treaty on Business and Human Rights. This joint presence expands our advocacy capacity and strengthens essential discussions on child protection, human rights, and corporate conduct.
This partnership has also enriched the training of students, particularly those involved in the Clinic, by offering unique and concrete opportunities to engage in relevant international spaces and deepen critical reflections that would not be possible without DKA. It has contributed to shaping them into human rights activists committed to social transformation and environmental protection.
, we are profoundly grateful for this partnership, which strengthens initiatives, inspires transformation, and reaffirms the importance of walking together in the defense of human rights.
