Also on the ground floor is a very large kitchen, which needs some cosmetic updating, which in my opinion could be converted into a ground floor guestroom for those guests/family members who would struggle using the stairs. As it has a double w.c next door to it, this would be a sensible option, and a new kitchen could easily be added to the large open plan living room at a minimum cost. There is also a further lower ground stair case which leads to a basement/cellar.
Restaurant. Purpose built , L -shaped building incorporating bar and separate catering kitchen. Well maintained and ideal for various functions. Could be used as a breakfast room if the new owners decided to operate a b&b business - the possibilities with this place are endless. I'm advised that the restaurant /bar was also open to the locals during the week/weekend, and was very popular as well as being an important part of the trade, during the quieter winter months.
Swimming pool. The real jewel in the crown, in this complex is the purpose built swimming pool. No expense has been spared ,in creating this beautifully tiled pool, with separate changing rooms and large sun terrace. With just the addition of a few palm trees, and some pool side furniture you can create your own tropical oasis, saving you a lot of time and a great deal of expense!! Tiled pools are not a cheap option here in Bulgaria, so to have one already installed, and of this size and quality, is certainly a great advantage and a real selling point of the place.

Charming ,stone built country house situated in the very popular village of Dobrina. This picturesque village spreads out over a wide, open mountain plateau , with anoramic views over the higher peaks of the Balkan Mountains, in both the West and South, yet is just 4km from Provadia Town, and its many bars, restaurants and shops. The village itself is quiet and unspoilt, with a just a couple of shops and dominated by the magnificent 16th century church 'St Theodore'.

The property is located down a quiet lane, just off the centre of the village. Double gates lead into a tidy courtyard, with two large barns to the right of the property, which are in a good condition, and ideal for storage/garaging or could be easily converted into further accommodation. The house itself is to the left of the courtyard, bordered by a small stone wall and single gate. Upstairs is accessed by means of external stone steps, and comprises of three double bedrooms, that are all in excellent condition with new windows and electric points. The main bedroom has a double bed and overlooks the magnificent roof terrace that wraps around the whole of the upstairs level, and offers stunning views across the village, hills and mountains. Whilst the family have enjoyed many happy holidays here, they are now looking for a livelier location that will suit teenagers!! Please note the family are not looking to rent a holiday apartment - are looking for a definite sale or swap.



The village of Slaveykovo is a traditional Bulgarian farming village situated in the foot ills of the Stara Planina Mountain range, 65km away from seaside city of Varna (East) 30km away from town of Shumen (West) and 21km from Provadia. It is surrounded by wonderful countryside, lakes and forests with centuries old Oak Trees( Slaveykovo Forest is a protected site since 2002) and abundance of wild life such as Deer, Wild Boar and Hare, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Honey and Steppe Buzzards and Sparrow Hawk to name but a few.

The house itself, is at the far end of the village, and is approached though large double gates leading into a courtyard garden. The courtyard features several old barns, many with the original features, which will require restoration to bring them back to their former glory. However once restored, they could be used as traditional storage for anyone interested in farming/small holding or converted into extra guest accommodation if so required. The house by contrast, is light and modern, with a fully fitted kitchen,and a white bathroom suite. The lounge is open plan and has a traditional wood burner for those cooler evenings plus two large leather sofas. There are also two good size bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with two singles - which both offer stunning views across the farmlands and surrounding forests. To the front of the house is a second garden which is mainly laid to lawn, with a few fruit trees bordered by a privet hedge, leading on to a small woodland area at the side. All the garden areas are flat, making them ideal for the addition of a swimming pool, for those long, hot summer months!! If you have green fingers or looking to be a little more self sufficient, there is endless scope for a vegetable plot or two, whilst adding a terrace and bbq would be perfect for those long summer evenings.

Although the property is on one level, it has plenty of cellar/storage space plus a large stone porch/summer kitchen attached to the side of the house, giving it a distinctive but charming 'L' shape. The sale of this house, includes all the furniture and kitchen appliances mentioned plus any soft furnishings such as curtains, cushions etc, so you could literally move in straight away!!. The village of Asparuhovo (84 km from Varna and 33 km from Provadiya) is a small picturesque village, located at the foot of the Stara planina mountains and the bank of Tzonevo dam-lake - the fourth largest lake in the country. The lake attracts both locals and tourists all year round, as it is rich in fish such as bream, perch and rudd, and so the village is well developed with hotels, guest houses, a medical centre, libray, shops , restauarants etc.
The house itself, has far reaching views of the lake and is just a ten minute drive from the village centre itself. It is situated down a quiet country lane in a peaceful location. It has a tidy lawned garden with numerous trees and shrubs to the front of the property, and a small parcel of land to the side. The house has three good size rooms upstairs, which are accessed by external stone steps. Two of the rooms are being used as bedrooms and both have dual windows and stunning views of the lake and beyond. The third room was being used as a living/dining room, whilst renovation work was done downstairs, but could easily be converted into a third bedroom if required. Charming, colonial style country home, situated in a large village, 19km from Provadia town. The property is just a few minutes from the village centre, which has two bars,numerous shops and bus links to the neighbouring villages and Provadia itself.

Location location location!! Set on a spacious corner plot, on an excellent tarmac road, this lovely little property will make an ideal holiday home/second home or retirement home. It is based in the charming, picturesque village of Boryana, yet only a few minutes drive from Dalgopol - a bustling town in the Varna Provence, with excellent infrastructure, shops, train & bus station, police station, 24 hour medical centre,restaurants & bars etc. The village itself has several shops and a bar, with a handful of English neighbours as well as Bulgarians.
