50 jaar aan de balie! ๐ Op 19 mei werd onze collega Dominique MATTHYS gevierd in het Gentse hof van beroep als jubilaris. Advocaten die 50 jaar het beroep uitoefenen worden aan de Gentse balie immers in de bloemetjes gezet tijdens een feestelijke viering.
Dominique legde de eed af op 1 oktober 1976. Een halve eeuw vol inzet, expertise en toewijding aan het recht en aan zijn cliรซnten.
Conform de traditie werd voor iedere gevierde advocaat een lofrede gehouden. Een moment dat de kracht van ons beroep nog eens onderstreept: de band tussen mensen, het recht, en een leven lang dienstbaarheid.

50 years at the bar. ๐ On 19 May, our colleague Dominique MATTHYS was honoured at the Ghent Court of Appeal as a jubilee lawyer. At the Ghent Bar, lawyers who have practised for 50 years are celebrated in a special ceremony.
Dominique took his oath on 1 October 1976. Half a century of dedication, expertise and commitment to the law and his clients.
In keeping with tradition, a tribute speech was given for each celebrated lawyer โ a moment that beautifully captures the heart of our profession.
