Always happy to support 🇮🇹DSNY Columbia Association🇺🇸 🚛💪🇮🇹 AJ Contrino 🇺🇸🇮🇹🤌🏼 This year’s DSNY Columbia Golf Outing was a great event and huge success! Events like these are done not only to get everyone together and have a great time, but it allows our organization give back and help several charities in need throughout the year. Everyone’s support was tremendous-from all of our golf hole sponsors, premium event sponsors and all the raffle items donated from several businesses within our communities. It was a pleasure honoring Assistant Chief Brian Allocco as our honorary golf starter 🏌️‍♂️

Happy Friday! 🚛💪 NYCSanitation New jobs, new titles, new beginnings: today’s Graduation and Promotion Ceremony celebrated New York’s Strongest in the Great Hall at the Cooper Union!

In addition to welcoming new Sanitation Workers and promoting civilian employees, we officially appointed Joseph Antonelli as our Department’s First Deputy Commissioner.

🚛💪 NYC DDC They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and in this case this award-winning DSNY garage is a treasure all on its own!

We are proud to join NYCSanitation to cut the ribbon on two new Sanitation garages on a 13.55-acre site at Fresh Kills. The $230 million project modernizes essential City services supporting trash collection, street cleaning, emergency snow response and day-to-day operations for Staten Island residents.

By combining two Sanitation districts into one modern facility, we’re creating a more efficient workplace for DSNY crews, with capacity for up to 2,000 tons of road salt storage, a fueling station, rooftop solar panels, skylights, upgraded underground infrastructure and modern work areas for 24/7 staff.

💪🚛 NYCSanitation We held our quarterly Commissioner’s Awards for Excellence this morning, honoring civilians and uniformed members of The Strongest who have demonstrated outstanding service, including those who worked to ensuring the success of our Empire Bin program, a Sanitation Worker who acts as a mentor for newer Workers coming on the job, and a Superintendent who makes sure 311 service requests get the attention they deserve.

Thank you to our outstanding Sanitation Workers, Supervisors, Superintendents, Sanitation Enforcement Agents, and Civilians for going above and beyond in their work with the Strongest.
