“Have a TIN, but no return — who is responsible?”📣

Few days ago I saw a lady at the bank — she wants to open a savings account of more than 10 lakhs. The bank told her that she has to provide proof of income tax return (PSR). But she insisted — “I have a TIN”. Later it was found out that she had taken a TIN a few years ago, but never filed an income tax return — because she has no income! Yet she is going to open a savings account for a large amount.

The question is — who is responsible for such millions of TIN holders?

If the NBR had only imposed a minimum fine on each of them, then huge revenue would have come. But instead of going that route, they are repeatedly searching the documents of those who pay taxes regularly.

There are thousands of homeowners and car owners in every city of the country, who do not have income tax documents. Houses and cars are not included in the asset statement. For many years, it has been said that a national survey will be conducted. But no effective results have been seen even today.

As a result, the main source of revenue collection remains indirect taxes. And until the direct tax base is broadened, the revenue deficit will persist.

I have no identity, no power, no influence — only the intense feeling of love for the country. And from that feeling I am writing this letter to you. We have seen you as the pride of Bangladesh in the court of the world. You have shown, how big dreams are realized from small enterprises. As you have shown, a person's will and honesty can change the view of the whole world. But today when I hear that you want to resign, you want to step away — it's hard. It seems that the nation is losing its last hope. Sir, if you leave, not only a man, but a vision, an ideal, a probability sun. You're not like many others — you didn't do politics, but with your policies the world has put you on a higher seat than politics. You still have the power to change a lot of the country. If you step back now, it will be a symbol of deep disappointment for those who truly love this state. Request to you — don't go. Don't give up. Say: "Yes, this country will change by my hand." Without people like you, future generations may lose faith that someone stands for justice. Sir, because you were there we still hope — this Bangladesh will one day become a truly humane and just state. Not your resignation, now you need bravery. 🎙️When a man's physical needs are met, his mental peace returns. But the matter is completely different for women. A woman thinks about physical needs only when she has peace of mind. These differences in the needs of men and women make their relationships more complex and deeper.

All the depression and fatigue of men are relieved by physical connection with the partner. If you want to please your male partner, you must have a physical attachment with him, and it must be from the heart.

Women, in contrast, place more importance on emotional attachment. If he is in good spirits, he is naturally interested in physical connection. But if he is not in good mood, he does not respond to anything. A woman's mind is her real strength.

A woman can reshape a man's life if she wants to. And that woman can completely ruin a man's life if she wants.
A woman can raise a man to the highest pinnacle of respect. If he wants again, he can bring him down to the bottom of dishonor.
A woman can enrich a man financially if she wants to. If he wants again, he can make him destitute.
Women can build a beautiful family and a happy family if they want. If he wants again, he can destroy that family.
Women can keep a man bound to family, society, and himself. If he wants again, he can throw away the man alone, without family.
Woman has the power to change the whole world through her education, power, illusion, love and compassion.
A woman can free a man from bad habits and turn him into a good person. It is also capable of destroying good people.

Woman, I have immense faith in you.
You will beautify your home, family and society with your beauty, education, and power of love.
May your love be your family,
May your love be your husband,
And let your love be your child.

🎙️নোবেল লরিয়ড ড. ইউনুস স্যারের বক্তব্য ১ ঘন্টা হলে ধৈর্য ধরে শুনলাম। তিনি কখনও অ-কাজের কথা বলেন না।

সবচেয়ে যেটা আমাকে বেশী আকর্ষণ করে সেটা হলো তিনি কখনও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনা বিক্রি করেন না,অস্বীকারও করেন না,ছোটও করেন না আবার মহাভারত বি শা ল ও বলেন না। ইতিহাস ইতিহাসের জায়গায় রেখে দেন।

কারও কোন সমালোচনা বা ব্যাঙ্গ করে কথা বলেন না।
তিনি কাউকে ভয় দেখান না,প্রতিশোধ নিবেন ও না। তিনি নিজেকে নিয়ে অহংকার করেন না।

দুনিয়ার কারও চাটুকারিতাও করেন না।
তিনি লিখিত বক্তব্য পাঠ করেন না, রাগ করে কথাও বলেন না। তিনি ঠান্ডা মাথার এক দারুণ খেলোয়াড়।

তিনি ভবিষ্যতের কথা বলে। স্বপ্নের কথা বলেন। তরুণদের এগিয়ে যাওয়ার কথা বলেন।

তিনি ধর্ম নিয়ে ক্রিটিসাইজ করেন না। তিনি এক অনন্য অসাধারণ ব্যক্তিত্ব।

এটাকেই বলে আন্তর্জাতিক ব্যাক্তিত্ব।🖨️

🪡ড. মুহাম্মদ স্যার ইউনূস কী জিনিস, ঐটা শুধু আওয়ামীলীগ বা ভারত না, বাংলাদেশের বেশিরভাগ রাজনৈতিক দলই এখনও বুঝে নাই।

আজ ইউনূস কী বলছে, শুনছেন?

বলছে, কোন পার্টি কোন সংস্কার চান, আর কোনটা চান না, ঐটা বলেন। আমি ওয়েবসাইটে লিখে দেবো যে অমুক পার্টি চায় নাই, তাই হয় নাই।

যদি একটা সংস্কারও না চান, কোন অসুবিধা নাই। ওয়েবসাইটে দিয়ে দেবো। লুকোচুরির কিছু নাই। সবাই জানবে।

এইটুক শুনে আমি হাসতে হাসতে শেষ।

বুঝছেন তো? কোন চিপায় নিয়া ফেলছে দলগুলারে?

বিএনপি আর জামায়াত তলে তলে ভেটো দিয়ে আইসা উপরে উপরে সরকারের কাছে বল ঠেইলা দেয়, এইটা আর হবে না।

আবার সংস্কারে একমত হয়ে পরে পিছুটান নেওয়ার সুযোগ থাকবে না। কারণ ম্যাগনাকার্টার মতো জুলাই সনদ হবে। ওখানে সব দলকেই সাইন করতে হবে।

বাংলাদেশের রাজনৈতিক দলগুলো ৯০ এর পরে বাংলাদেশের মানুষের সাথে বেঈমানি করেছিলো।

এবার ইউনূস সেইটা বন্ধ করেছেন।

এইবার কোন দল যদি সংস্কারের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্থান নেয়, ঐটার লিখিত দলিল থাকবে। এবং ভবিষ্যতে এই লিখিত দলিল দিয়ে সেই দলের রাজনীতি পর্যন্ত শেষ করে দেওয়া যাবে।
