একই অপরাধের জন্য কোন আসামিকে একবারই বিচার করে শাস্তি দেওয়া যাবে, একাধিকবার নয় অর্থাৎ কোন বিষয় নিয়ে একই পক্ষগণের মধ্যে একবারই বিচার করা যাবে

দেওয়ানী কার্যবিধি, ১৯০৮ সংশোধন করে যে গেজেট ২০২৫ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে, আশাকরি তাতে বাংলাদেশের অনেক ভুক্তভোগী উপকৃত হবে। যদিও আরও কিছু সংশোধন আনা উচিত ছিলো।
