Two of the most esteemed members of Bangladesh's legal community have passed away in a single day.

On the evening of May 3, 2025, Senior Advocate M.I. Farooqui passed away, and today, May 4, 2025, Barrister Abdur Razzaq also departed from us. They made significant and long-lasting contributions to justice and the law.

The legal profession has suffered an irreversible loss with their passing. We offer our sincerest sympathies to their loved ones, coworkers, and the larger legal community. May Allah (SWT) reward them for their service and grant them eternal peace.
