Today, we solemnly honour the memory of those who stood with unwavering courage for justice, accountability, and a brighter, fairer future for Bangladesh. The July 2024 Mass Uprising was more than a moment—it was a movement. Led by the fearless voices of students and ordinary citizens, it became a defining chapter in our nation’s journey toward truth and transformation.
We remember, with deep sorrow and gratitude, the countless lives lost—those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the struggle for a just and democratic Bangladesh. Their courage in the face of brutality, and their refusal to remain silent, continue to inspire us all.
As we reflect on that pivotal time, we recommit ourselves to the values they so bravely defended: the rule of law, democratic principles, and the dignity and rights of every individual. Their sacrifices were not in vain—they lit a flame of hope and resilience that continues to guide us.
May their legacy strengthen our resolve to build a Bangladesh that is more just, more inclusive, and truly worthy of their dreams.
