Lest we forget.

On 1 April 2015, Lancaster Law & Mediation launched, and then 3 days later, I took a week off to attend Nationals basketball in Ballarat, because….. priorities (Patrick’s NSW Country Team won Gold).

Today marks 11 years of serving clients and helping them resolve their issues and disputes - we’re no April Fools.

I wouldn’t have mentioned it except that a client sent a note and gift this week, (yes, I have been a lawyer for longer, and yes, I sought permission to share).

I also had a client ask me to stop work, because my first two letters in a deceased estate dispute caused a generous settlement offer, and the first payment was received today - one of our shorter files.

We never really know or understand our impact in this world whilst we are working hard and I will take a moment to reflect and celebrate.

I also wish to thank all of my employees for their support over the years, as well as the referrers and other professionals we have been fortunate to work with.

Here’s to many more years of the solution being in resolution.

The state government has lost a landmark case involving the illegal strip search of a woman by NSW Police at a music festival in 2018.

Sydney woman Raya Meredith was awarded $93,000 in damages.

The case is part of a broader class action which extends to police strip searches at music festivals from 2016.

Can’t make tonight’s game due to NBL1, but recommend it to you. The Sunday game is easy because it’s at the Snakepit, but a different court means different gameplay.

Friday and Saturday night we are at Shellharbour City Stadium.
Get your tickets at the door - Entry is just $5 for Adults, u18 are free and the famous Roller Hawks BBQ will be fired up.

On Sunday we're at the Snakepit for a triple header with the Illawarra Hawks NBL1 men's and women's teams.

We'll tip off the day at 11am and the $10 entry for adults and $5 entry for kids covers all three games. Roller Hawks Season Members and Sponsors, entry is included with your pass.
