With over 36 years’ experience as a barrister and solicitor, Paul brings extensive expertise in civil litigation, including contract disputes, regulatory matters, administrative law, negligence, product liability, insurance, transport, and construction disputes and in appeal proceedings.

He has appeared in WA and Federal courts and tribunals, worked in first‑tier firms, the Australian Government Solicitor and served as General Counsel at a prestigious WA University. Paul also contributes to the community with roles at various governing boards.

🐾 Say hello to our office dog, Dr Watson! 🐾

Dr Watson is our much‑loved, one year old Old English Sheepdog (yes, the same breed as the famous Dulux dog!) and a favourite member of staff here at Hammond Legal. He pops into the office a few times a week, bringing smiles, tail wags, and the occasional bit of mischief.

When he’s not charming clients, you’ll find Dr Watson:
✨ Enthusiastically helping our lawyers with their matters
🗑️ Raiding the bins with great enthusiasm
📦 Chewing up any cardboard box he can get his paws on
🐕‍🦺 Going for strolls along Rheola Street like he owns the place (watch out John!)

It’s not often the Hammond Legal team get to spend time together outside the office, so this year’s Christmas lunch was extra special. We had the BEST time at in Claremont. Incredible food, brilliant service, and plenty of laughs all around. 🍝🥂

From sharing a delicious meal to Secret Santa surprises, it was the perfect way to wrap up another huge year.
