I started my legal career as a solicitor for three years with one year in the Gippsland area which taught so much empathy and understanding about how my clients' feel when facing any sort of litigation, especially in the emotional area of Family Law. From 1988 - 1990 I was employed by Justice Hassett at the County Court as a Judges' Associate which I loved. During that time I also performed inten
sive research work with and or for County Court Judges for the Sentencing Manual. This was very humbling. In 1990 I finally signed the Victorian Bar Roll and read with Mr Howard Mason.I knew I wanted to be an advocate and concentrate of appearing for vulnerable clients'. In 2001 I was humbled to Mentor my first reader, Mr Russell Stubbs. (In plain English this means I helped train and support a new member of the Victorian Bar). Since I mentored Russell Stubbs, I was privileged to support a further three (3) Readers at the Victorian Bar. My practices focuses solely in the area of Family Law, De Facto Property Law, Domestic Violence and Same S*x De Facto relationships. On April 2002 I became an Accredited Arbitrator and now I am registered on the List of Arbitrators managed by the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators. I also have the pleasure of lecturing at Victoria University with respect a focus on the Fitness Industry and the Legal Profession in General. "I am honoured to be on the Reader's List Committee and Secretary to the Family Law Bar Association." For the past eight (8) months I have been a Steering Committee Member for Family Violence Taskforce. Something I am very passionate about. Social Media Platform Created by Corinne Pascal
