Employees whose wages are set by Awards will receive 3.75% pay increase from 1 July. For many other employees who are covered by Awards but paid over Award pay, employers will need to check that rates of pay, including any overtime/allowances/penalty rates are more than the Award.

The Fair Work Commission has announced Australia's minimum wage and award wages will increase by 3.75 per cent, taking the national minimum wage to $24.10 per hour or $915.91 per week from July 1.
