In what is proving to be an interesting time in the world of conveyancing and real estate in general, the team are continuing to work hard to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Dear Kerry at Geoff Williams, I am very happy to endorse the excellent work you did to enable me to purchase my Gold Coast apartment. As you remember, time was tight (it was a cash sale), the monies had to be withdrawn from a superannuation account on a falling market (covid 19 was just starting) and I was only on the GC for a couple of days. Added to which there was a time difference between our two states, and my computer literacy fairly basic. Nevertheless, we came in on time, your professionalism in land titles and related matters very much in evidence, as also negotiating the Scylla and Charybdis of stamp duty and corporate body fees. Geoff Williams & Associates has now completed its 8th year participating in the Cancer Council Pro Bono Program. The program helps people affected by cancer access free legal, financial, small business and workplace advice, if they cannot afford to pay for it. Since joining the program in 2011, we have provided pro bono legal assistance to numerous members of our community affected by cancer.
Thanks to the generous support of many volunteer professionals, in 2018 the Cancer Council were able to provide legal, financial and workplace support to 1,470 people affected by cancer, which equates to over $4,780,000 of commercial advice provided for free. It is a fantastic cause and if you get the chance to donate please do not hesitate.

GW&A does Melbourne Cup 2018. A fantastic day out at The Coolangatta Sands. A few winners and plenty of beers. Congrats to Leesa on the Fashions on the Field victory. Not your conventional catwalk strut but plenty of support made her a clear winner.
