Last week Avid Law went on a road trip to our nation’s capital to attend The Kind Lawyers Conference.

We connected with hundreds of like-minded movers & shakers who are equally as passionate about practicing law in alignment with our values.

Kindness in law is an innovative move away from conflict resolution which traditionally involves a combative, gladiator, aggressive point-scoring style of lawyering. In our experience this inevitably leads to compromised client outcomes, unhappy legal professionals & declining mental health for all involved.

Avid Law firmly believes that lawyers can be both fierce AND kind and that practicing law in alignment with these values leads to superior client experience and outcomes and much happier lawyers!

Today the Avid Law team walked 9kms to raise awareness of the 9 people who die every day to su***de in this country.

We are proud to have raised $1,620 so far for Lifeline to provide su***de prevention services and support Aussies in need.

Avid Law has created a team to raise funds for Lifeline to provide su***de prevention services and support Aussies in need.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, we will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking 9kms for the 9 people lost to su***de every day.

This is a cause that is so very close to our hearts, having personally grieved the tragic loss of our own loved ones lost in this way 💔 and also supporting families through our work who are navigating the excruciating path & complex grief following the death of their loved ones lost to su***de. 💔
