I have extensive experience in all areas of law including employment, industrial relations, work health and safety, migration, family, wills and estates, corporate and commercial, property, commercial litigation and criminal. My passion is to assist employers to manage their employment, industrial relations and work health and safety compliance. I have extensive experience advising large employers
(and employees) in highly unionised industries and have a record of delivering practical legal solutions in complex disputes. My experience broadly covers advising and representing employers on a variety of complex legal issues including work health and safety compliance, investigations and prosecutions, employment contracts, award obligations, workplace agreements, discrimination and harassment, redundancy, unfair dismissal and performance management. I regularly advise and act for employers in workers’ compensation matters including reviews and appeals, unfair dismissal, unlawful termination, breach of contract and discrimination claims. I represent employers in courts and industrial commissions in all jurisdictions. Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, I have advised clients on matters involving employment, industrial relations and work health and safety issues. I am a member of the Law Society of Queensland, Industrial Relations Society of Queensland, Migration Institute of Australia and Certified Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
