Paton Hooke Lawyers is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our legal team in Taree. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative support to our solicitors in Family Law and other areas.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a legal assistant (1+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of family law processes and court procedures is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Enthusiasm, attention to detail and pride in work quality.
- Professional presentation and a team-player mentality.
- A working knowledge of LEAP legal software is beneficial.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers and administrative staff.
- Assist in the preparation of court documents and general correspondence.
- Transcription of digital dictation.
- Efficient file management and monthly invoicing.
- Coordination of appointments, conferences and mediations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, employees, Counsel and other stakeholders.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties and provide general administrative support as required.
