This explains why the NSW Police "Service" can, in broad daylight with cameras working, simply assault people (Sydney Town Hall during the anti-Herzog protests) - viciously. And we're literally paying for it. And Rabbi Minns defends this violence. It is not simply a few "bad apples", complicity at the senior levels protects the violence...except when lawyers are involved. The State's Police Integrity Commission three years ago recommended body cameras be used when force is used. Guess what the NSW Police "Service" has decided to do? Minns yesterday defended the actions of the NSW Police, again (the bad apples response, ignoring the cultural and institutional aspects of the violence)

A confronting Four Corners investigation into alleged police misconduct in NSW and the hidden accountability system accused of failing victims and the public. We ask, when police abuse their power, who holds them to account?

The Israeli Ambassador said, when the Flotilla Folk were brutally treated trying to bring in aid to Gaza, that as much aid as desired was sent in. Another Zionist Israeli lie (and there are quite a few of them). In Gaza, water comes from Israel, and is contaminated. Aid organisations have to smuggle in water purifying equipment - apparently a weapon of war. Medicines are in VERY short supply. Electricity for a few hours a day. Don't believe me, go from 24,00 on "7.30" to realise the expression "F**K ISRAEL" has both resonance, and truth (and how precisely is it, that the President of this foul country gets a State Welcome to Australia. And the Jewish community in Australia is discriminated against (when Herzog was in Melbourne, he congratulated Australia on its welcoming of Zionism).

I spoke to Susan Mitchell at an Adelaide Writers' Festival, before the Zionists wrecked it. She wrote an unauthorised biography of Tony Abbott. She said he was "a sad little man locked in the 50's." What do you think? If the Liberals want to stop their seats going to Teals, a complete disaster. If the Liberals want to head off the fascist One Nation, a good choice.

Without the support of the West, Israel's conduct would not occur. We said about German citizens in N**i Germany that they MUST have known about the concentration camps. One can argue that. But it is BEYOND ARGUMENT that those who live in Israel do so voluntarily, and have the benefits of that Government, and of course know what it's various governments have done over decades. Of course this excludes Palestinians, who live in an apartheid condition on their own land. And then there's Gaza.

A question for PM Albanese and FM Wong, do you condone the sexual assault of Australian women? " Well no, we must support Israel and its supporters in Australia. Then there's the US to consider". For the record, Wong denied Australia was supplying F-35 parts to Israel for months, until under sustained questioning in the Senate from Greens David Shoebridge, conceded that "non-lethal" F-35 parts were.

Contrary to what Israeli Prime Minister said, the brutal, unlawful and predictable actions of the Israeli Defence Force are PRECISELY what Israel has been doing to Palestinians FOR DECADES (if not worse). A question for the Royal Commission which it refuses to answer, or take evidence on, what role has the Jewish state played in the so-called eruption of anti-semitism in Australia. The RC won't take evidence from pro-Palestinian groups. I've been following the role of the prominent Jewish groups in Australia for decades. They supports Israel, and that's it. I guess you see the repercussions of that. From the Herald today:

A Melbourne woman has touched down in Australia, alleging she and fellow detainees were mistreated by Israeli authorities after their Gaza-bound flotilla was intercepted.

Gemma O’Toole was the first of 11 Australians released by Israel to arrive home on Sunday night. She was greeted by her parents and more than 100 supporters at Melbourne Airport.

Amid long hugs, tears, and chants of support, O’Toole – flanked by her parents, Dr Patrick Keyzer and Dr Suzie O’Toole – personally thanked all the people who came to welcome her home, vowing that this would not be the end of the matter.

O’Toole alleged that she and about 480 activists were physically, mentally and, in some cases, sexually abused after they were intercepted by the IDF on May 18 while sailing with the Global Sumud Flotilla towards Gaza intending to deliver aid.

The treatment of the detained activists was thrown into the international spotlight last Thursday when Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir published a video of him taunting groups of detainees who were zip-tied and forced to kneel on the ground.
The videos received widespread international condemnation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the actions were “not in line with Israel’s values and norms”, but the flotilla’s mission amounted to unnecessary provocation.

On Sunday, O’Toole and her family demanded an audience with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and called for more action against Israel following her experiences in Israeli custody.

“It was definitely the weirdest week of my life and definitely the worst week of my life,” O’Toole said.

“I haven’t seen much of the media reporting as I haven’t had a phone for a long time but I gather there is a lot of attention on the Ben-Gvir video which is so insane to me.

“What you saw in that video is an infinitesimal amount of what we actually went through.

“Then to think that is what they do to predominantly white people when they are being, relatively, held to account.”

Israel defence minister Ben-Gvir posted a video to X showing him taunting bound and detained activists.

In a video posted to Free Gaza Australia’s Instagram account, O’Toole said she was strip-searched multiple times and repeatedly “pushed in the chest” by male guards.

“Me personally, I was strip-searched, repeatedly pushed in the chest with a man grabbing my b***s, asking me if I was a girl or a boy,” O’Toole said in the video.

She added that they were unable to sleep as guards would wake them every 30 minutes to be moved rooms and recounted.
Israel’s Australian ambassador Hillel Newman told ABC’s 7.30 program last week no one was hurt during the interception of the activists.

“No one was hurt, the interception was done very smoothly,”
Newman said. He “refuted completely” any allegations of sexual humiliation, said claims of “violence is not true” and that “many accusations thrown out there are not true”.

But when told of that comment, O’Toole said there were about 80 activists in hospital in Turkey, and she had visited five of them before she flew home. The group included people with broken vertebrae, broken legs and a fractured sternum and collapsed lung.
“Everyone is so deeply traumatised,” O’Toole said.

“We condemn his actions and the degrading actions of Israeli authorities towards those detained,” Wong said in a statement on Thursday, calling the video “shocking and unacceptable”.

“Australia’s ambassador to Israel has made representations to Israel, reiterating our call for the release of the detained Australians and for Israel to ensure no ill-treatment of any detainees and to act in line with international obligations. I also directed DFAT to call in Israel’s ambassador to Australia to reinforce this message.”

The Australian activists onboard the flotilla were Juliet and Isla Lamont, Zack Schofield, Surya McEwen, Dr Bianca Webb-Pullman, Anny Mokotow, Neve Barwick O’Connor, Sam Woripa Watson, Violet Coco, Helen O’Sullivan and O’Toole.

O’Toole’s parents called for serious action from the Australian government against Israel, and they want an audience with the prime minister to make their case.

“If that is what they are prepared to do to Australians, on camera, imagine what they are doing to Palestinians who are locked up for years and years and years,” Keyzer said.

“I’m really angry. We want an audience with the prime minister. This doesn’t stop here.”

‘It was chaos’: Australians released from Israeli prison, allege mistreatment

Suzie O’Toole said she was incredibly proud of her daughter and enraged at the treatment of the activists.

“I’m enraged, exhausted but absolutely furious that my daughter and all those other brave activists were kidnapped by Israel, held hostage, bashed and sleep-deprived all because they got on boats to take aid to starving people,” she said.

“They sailed on those boats because governments around the world, including Australia, haven’t pushed back against Israel in their relentless killing and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.
“She is clearly traumatised, we really need to get her home and start putting the pieces back together.”

"So, they're only lives who don't matter, they're not connected to my family nor how I can make a quick buck" Trump's cuts to USAid (seems a lot of money, however, for other "adventures") I hope all Christians who voted for Trump, take note. Seems to be a bit of a theological contradiction here (didn't Jesus toss out the hyprocites - money changers etc - from holy houses). Rabbi Minns, including Rabbi Malinauskas of SA., keep your Zionist oppressions to yourself. The people have spoken...well...people who think, read, consider....and have a BASIC REGARD FOR HUMAN RIGHTS. What's wrong with speaking the truth? As for the mainsteam Jewish community who consider her and folk like Antoinette Lattouf evil (and viciously attack them (these two champions are pictured), so much for the peaceful Jew...and I mean Jew (who do the Zionist lobbying presumably because they are Jewish). From the Herald today:

"It is safe to say Randa Abdel-Fattah was not NSW Premier Chris Minns’ preferred choice for this year’s Sydney Writers’ Festival.
When the Newcastle Writers Festival earlier this year refused to buckle to pressure and withdraw its invitation to the Palestinian-Australian author and academic, Minns questioned her inclusion, suggesting organisers were inviting unnecessary controversy following the December mass shooting in Bondi.

The Sydney Writers’ Festival – Australia’s largest literary event – also stood by its invitation.

The friction did nothing to dent its box office appeal, the festival announcing on Saturday that it is on track to deliver the highest sales figures in its 29-year history.

Abdel-Fattah’s two Saturday sessions were sold out, as were 52 per cent of all paid talks. By Saturday morning – the festival’s peak day, and just 24 hours before wrapping up – the event had surpassed its total ticket sales revenue and attendance figures at the same point last year.

It has been a significant week for the author, whose novel Discipline was also named on the 2026 Miles Franklin Literary Award longlist. The book’s themes of institutional censorship mirror real-world events: earlier this year, a writers’ boycott forced the complete cancellation of Adelaide Writers’ Week after its board removed Abdel-Fattah from the lineup.

“It hasn’t surprised me that so many events have sold out, but rather the speed at which they did,” said festival chief executive Brooke Webb. “It’s not just one topic or one genre; it’s events across the board, which shows people are engaged and have a strong appetite for thoughtful conversations, ideas and cultural discussion.

“The other surprise is how much younger the audience is becoming. We used to think of ‘young’ as under 45; now it is under 25. There is a huge demand for long-form journalism, proving it is very much alive and vibrant.”

Abdel-Fattah, Antoinette Lattouf and Michael Mohammed Ahmad were given a rousing welcome and a standing ovation at the close of their panel discussion titled Silenced, a “critical dialogue about the things we aren’t allowed to say, but do”.

The speakers took aim at government policies that they said sought to censor language and media organisations which failed to report the situation on the ground in Palestine. Abdel-Fattah said she started writing Discipline about the post-9/11 generation who grew up during the United States’ war on terror and had completed it out of “revenge” to expose an institutional silence and repression over Gaza.

Antoinette Lattouf (right) appeared alongside Abdel-Fattah.Sitthixay Ditthavong

But Lattouf said that the sold-out event of 1000 people sent a powerful message to those “who wish to influence our institutions or that of our own government policies” that “we’re not OK” with “authoritarian[s] and the erosion of civil liberties and punishing people who dare show empathy or concern for Palestinians at this moment and Lebanese at this moment, that you want international law upheld”.

“I think selling out [this session] is really, really powerful because it signals to the next writers’ festival, which will no doubt get pressure, that if anything it’s a moral thing in a commercial environment.”

Abdel-Fattah had faced intense scrutiny over past social media posts, including one stating that Zionists had “no claim to cultural safety” and that institutions catering to their “fragile feelings” were “abhorrent” – comments she maintains were taken out of context. She was also criticised for changing her Facebook profile picture to an illustration of a paraglider with a Palestinian flag the day after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel, though she has since stated she was unaware of the scale of the atrocities at the time.

Ahead of the festival, the Jewish Board of Deputies wrote to sponsors and corporate backers, urging them to consider whether supporting Abdel-Fattah’s participation would “strengthen or erode social cohesion in Sydney”. However, festival artistic director Ann Mossop defended the decision, asserting that writers’ festivals have a fundamental duty to explore uncomfortable questions of truth.
International guests echoed the sentiment of defending free expression. British journalist Jon Sopel warned that Australians must guard liberal democracy against the encroachment of populist politicians.

Pointing to the January 6 insurrection in the US, Sopel noted that only the personal courage of a few individuals – rather than institutional checks and balances – stood in the way of a constitutional rebellion. He added that it was an “enormous mistake” to gear public policy entirely towards keeping “the old wrinklies” of his own generation happy at the expense of younger generations locked out of the housing market.

Other highly popular speakers across the weekend included Slow Horses spy novelist Mick Herron, New Yorker staff writer and investigative reporter Patrick Radden Keefe, and acclaimed Australian authors Trent Dalton and Melissa Lucashenko." See less
